PSE Bull Run now on its 10th year

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) will hold the 10th edition of its Bull Run on February 16, 2014, 4:00am at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

This year’s Bull Run is tagged the “Build Run” as part of the registration fee will be donated to a rehabilitation fund for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. The PSE will match the total amount raised from the sign ups and donate it to the fund as well.

“We want this 10th Bull Run, being a milestone for us, to also be responsive to the pressing needs of our countrymen. We have always used the event to promote investor awareness about the values of stock investing and its role in economic growth but this year, we want to solely focus on helping the rebuilding efforts in the affected communities of Typhoon Yolanda”, said PSE President and CEO Hans B. Sicat.

The 10th PSE Bull Run will have five divisions including 21K, 16K, 10K, 5K and 3K. All registered runners will be given a race packet that has a singlet, timing chip, race bib and the contribution voucher. Participants in the 21K and 16K races will also get a finisher’s shirt and medal on race day. The stockbroker and listed company that will have the most number of registered runners will likewise be acknowledged with the Biggest Delegation Award.

Interested participants may register through the Market Education Department of the Exchange at the PSE Plaza in Makati City or through SM Cinema ticket booths nationwide. Online registration is also available through http://www.smtickets.com.

The PSE Bull Run started in 2004 and has been one of the races that running enthusiasts and occasional runners look forward to.
